Title: Assistance required!
Post by: flash1234 on December 09, 2010, 06:02:36 AM
Dear all,

I am a 3rd year linguistics student doing my dissertation on Aviation English. I am looking for audio clips where miscommunications/misunderstandings happened due to improper use of airspeak. It would be very much appreciated if you could point me towards that kind of clips.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Don't know if this qualifies.....

Lot's of issues with language (i.e., non-native english speaking), "special" language" (e.g., recent change in US from "position and hold" vs "line up and wait", etc.

There are several examples of "confused" language...perhaps not peculiar to aviation...consider consulting Aviation Safety Foundation too.
