KATL Ground Stop

Read earlier tonight that KATL had a lightning strike on the tower and a ground stop was put in place.  Anyone catch anything on the feeds about it?

One of my co-workers was on an American flight from DFW when that happened. They got put into holding over LaGrange VOR, and ultimately had to divert to Birmingham to re-fuel. He didn't get back on the ground until close to midnight, he was supposed to have been back around 7pm.
