Two fight jets over Rockland County, N.Y.

There were 2 fighter jets flying in formation circling over Rockland County, N.Y. today at around 12:30pm. Does anyone know why?

A two-plane formation.

Otherwise, most probably it was aircraft on maneuvers in R5206, the MOA over Rockland County? Without any other info it's hard to do anything expect speculate, and I doubt if anything more concrete would be available.
