I just tried my LIVEATC app since playing feeds from the web based site are not working and have discovered the APP will not stay on in  the background while I am working on my phone .

Suggest you go into Settings and make sure the "Allow Background Playback" box  is checked. Hope this helps.

That setting us checked but it still wont remain playing .

and do your LiveATC settings look like this in the pic I attached.
I'm iPhone, and have no issues.

The "Allow Background Playback" setting only appears in the Android version of the LiveATC app.  So, if you have that setting and that box is checked, then it might be necessary to uninstall the app and then reinstall the app.  It's possible that there is another app that might be interfering with that setting.  Hopefully reinstalling the LiveATC app will take care of that problem.
