Yes I would love to have the kdtw feed and would even be willing to help you setup the feed. Just a few questions though, approximately how far are you from kdtw, and would you be able to put up an outside antenna. I ask you this because I may be able to give you a radio and some of my old equipment to help expand the feed. Hope to see a kdtw feed up soon, I really miss it.

He's referring to the guys at ZOB on Vatsim. It's been quite some time since the DTW feed had to be taken down. Would be great to hear it back, though don't know if anyone could match that quality.

Well im about 13 miles southeast of the field in a rural area. My handheld (pro 96) picks up everything pretty good with the lil antenna that came with it, tower is scratchy sometimes. I have a 40ft tower laying in my back yard, I need to pour a base for it and drive a grounding rod. Gonna have my Dad weld up a mount to sink into the base. I have a Diamond Discone antenna, Belden 9913 low-loss cable, an ICOM PCR-1000, a server grade machine and a 1500va backup battery to dedicate to the feed.

wow, impressive equipment. Hope to see a feed up soon. I was considering setting-up a remote system at one of my relative house in the aria, but you certainly have a better setup than I could do. Good luck!
