All YBBN Feeds Going Away?
« on: January 18, 2025, 13:03:52 UTC »
Does anyone know what's happening with the YBBN feeds? There were quite a few feeds available, including approach, departure, tower, and ground frequencies, as well as some Centre frequencies. These have been down since December and disappeared from the channel list. There are currently 2 Centre feeds showing, and both of these are currently down.

I know these are often volunteer-run, so there's no complaining here. As a Brisbane local, I would listen to the feeds regularly and sometimes watch from my house as the planes joined the 01L/R ILS, so I'm curious.

Most of the LiveATC feeds are provided by volunteers.  Feeds can go down or can completely go away at any time for reasons beyond the control of LiveATC.  Every effort is made to keep feeds online but, unfortunately, things can happen.  No feed is guaranteed to be up 24/7/365.

On the bright side, a new YBBN tower feed may come online shortly... fingers crossed...
