Anyone know of airports that have frequently helicopters around?
-
KBUR & KVNY are two around here that come to mind.

Your KBUR and KLAX feeder

KJFK has a fair amount as well.
-
KFXE Ft. Lauderdale Executive has it's share

Try KBDL or KHFD; there's a flight school in the area so you hear student pilots in R-22s sometimes. Those are the two main airports they use to practice their controlled airspace skills.
-
KCLT handles several news choppers daily.
-
KDCA (Washington National) has a large variety of primarily military helicopter traffic, complete with a seperate tower frequency and controller during much of the day (not a shameless plug for my feed  )
-
KOAK has helicopter traffic on a fairly regular basis. Especially early evening and weekends.
-
KBOS, KASH, KOWD as well.
-
KLAS as well.
Tons of helicopter tours to the Strip, and out to Lake Mead/Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon from McCarran.

KVNY/KWHP will have lots of helos, and all of the Los Angeles media ships are based at these 2 airports.
