This is my first post after along time of enjoying every aspect of this website.
My friend flies a SR-20 all over the country. I use flightaware which shows me where he is planning to go next. My problem is I can't always tell where he is going because of the airport abbreivations. Is there a website that lists all the airports in the USA in plain English.
Thanks for any response.

Hey there, Larry.
AirNav (http://www.airnav.com) will be your best friend in trying to find out about airports your friend is flying to. It will have all the characteristics of the airport, frequencies used around there, runway lengths, the entire lot. Oh.. and the name of the airport and (if applicable) ICAO code.
Give that a shot.

Hopefully your friend is a real friend and takes you with him on those trips across the US in that awesome aircraft. :) :)

Larry, you might also try www.acukwik.com as a backup to AirNav. Mostly the same info but it has different layouts and features. Good luck.
