I'm sorry, I don't have any experience using this antenna.  I have a number of Liveatc feeds running right now (with a new ZDC feed setup coming very soon :-) ), and I use the GP126 antenna from Arrow.  It's an omnidirectional antenna and I am very happy with it's performance.  I don't know if you're looking for an indoor or outdoor antenna but the Arrow is better suited for outdoor installations in my opinion.  I hope this helps...

Hello
I have one at home and I can tell that it doesn't work as well as an antenna i made.

I don't know what it has inside but I consider that the other pole (negative) is missing to make it work a little better, that's why it has a wire connected.

I do not recommend it, better buy a GP126 antenna as it says RonR or make a DIY antenna.

I also used a flower pot antenna also made by me and it works very well.

Greetings

Tried it. Verdict: Don't. It might receive something when you stick it inside the airplane.

I have no idea how to set up or use this antenna.  Several Liveatc feeds are currently being broadcast by me. I wouldn't suggest it; instead, do as RonR suggests and get a GP126 antenna or build one yourself.

it's an excellent antenna.  Rob Pease who is the tech for the KPBI site/s (also covers Stuart/Ft. Pierce/Lantana/Boca) is his antenna he utilizes.  . It doesn't have to be high but outside in clear air is preferable. It comes with a 25' cable preinstalled and it is best not to extend it, but it can be done. It will just reduce range.

it's an excellent antenna.

That's great to know, thanks. Maybe I gave up on it too early.  :-o

I've had good luck with the Sirio air band antenna. Very good quality build.
