Great, just awesome!  :D Feed sounds nice and clear.  SFO is one of the best tower feeds because of the runway config, so thanks a lot to the feeder.

Adrian :D

Hopefully during departure/arrival pushes we can hear them launch two parallel takeoffs, then two parallel arrivals come in... Right now they're departing 10L and landing 19L.

Glad you guys like it...  it wasn't easy, and actually cost us a few bucks.  Please consider showing your support!  Thanks, as always.

Thanks for the SFO feed!

Some great stuff coming out of there now, 6:45pm PST. Reported winds of 140 at 42, gust 55 knots and just now reported microburst on the runway. Most all arrivals have been going around and they just changed the departure runway to 19R, a pretty rare configuration.

Anyways, thanks again for the feed!

Yup, every guy is going around, but I don't understand why they think they can land and just wait until they hit the microburst before going around?

Well if my one aviation weather class taught me anything, I think by the time you hit the microburst it's already to late and there's not much you can do to recover from it. Especially at a very low altitude, low speed, etc. etc. So better play it safe than sorry rather than ending up in the Bay.

Let me also add my thanks to putting the SFO feed up.  First night up and already fascinating listening due to the weather.  The tower just said they lost their ground radar.

Since SFO is basically in the Bay, high winds are expected, but anything over 40-50 knots is running pretty high even for the big boys. It's only during the winter months when the Bay Area sees some crazy stuff like this.

SO WHO IS THE ONE THAT SET THIS UP????? You totally made my day/week/year complete!  :D  I was just out at this park with a my girlfriend enjoying a perfect view of the actives with my scanner on Sunday. I live in San Francisco but the hills block my reception with my scanner. Thanks for the feed!

I used to run the SFO feed a little over a year ago prior to moving from the bay are to New Jersey. It was a sad day when I took the feed down.

I'm just thrilled to hear it's back up again, and better than ever!  Now if you can just add SQL and Moffett to it again, it'll be good as new ;)

Oh Wow!! thanks so much for the field. It's really clear as well. It'll be interesting to see what we could have at SFO in the future with ATC. Perhaps Approach, ground delivery??!
