Nice job by the crew! All safe and no major damage to the airplane. In the second pic, you can see he came awfully close to hitting the approach lights! Glad all are ok!

What about the red pole past the tail? What's that? Looks like he might have run through that.

Pretty sketchy amount of snow on the left engine at the start of the take off roll

Thank God everyone and the plane is okay. Did you hear everyone gasp as the pilots cut the throttle? I wonder if the dude holding the cam even felt scared haha. :-o

Air Berlin had another B737 reject a takeoff today at Berlin due to disagreeing airspeeds.

January is proving not a good month for Air Berlin, as another B737 incident, this time an off-runway excursion at Nuremberg on Jan 8th 2010, has occured.

"An Air Berlin Boeing 737-800, registration D-ABKA flight AB-6777 from Nuremberg to Dusseldorf (Germany) with 133 people on board, veered right off runway 10 about 200 meters down the runway at low speed, only the left hand main gear barely remained on the paved surface. No injuries and no damages are reported."

Also an unruly passenger situation on an A330 on the 6th.

"An Air Berlin Airbus A330-200, registration D-ALPH performing flight AB-7151 from Bangkok (Thailand) to Dusseldorf (Germany), was enroute about 2 hours ahead of estimated landing, when the crew requested police to meet the airplane in Dusseldorf due to 8 rioters on board. The Dutch citizens were reported to jump across seats, offend cabin crew and consume drugs. The airplane continued for a safe landing in Dusseldorf 2 hours later. German Police arrested the 8 Dutch citizens."
