AA FLT 878 TONITE DIVERTED TO DULLES
« on: April 24, 2011, 10:02:00 PM »
AA FLT 878 - DFW - EWR was diverted to Dulles.  Anyone have an idea why?

Thanks

Here is the Flightaware track for AAL 878...they did four holding pattern loops at the NC/VA border and another loop northwest of KIAD...as for the diversion, I'm not sure why...

Thanks

IS there a reason you want someone else to go do it for you?

The airport was below minimums for a while due to fog, multiple go arounds, caused holding all night.  Most likely they didnt have much fuel after holding, and diverted.
