1:30  CDT  DENVER  CHECK THE NEWS STATIONS

It's all over cable news. I'm following on NPR.

Traffic around D10 and KDEN has been rerouted (probably runway configuration change as well; winds are out of the north right now (350@9).

there might be something on the KDEN feed. I'm pretty sure the news outlets are clinging to that as well, trying to be 'first' with the breaking news.

BL.

"FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A sheriff said he was pursuing criminal charges in Colorado's "balloon boy" saga, which first sparked fear for the child, then relief that he was OK and now suspicions of a hoax.

Deputies searched the home of the boy's parents Saturday night, carrying away several boxes and a computer."

emergency telephone operator:
"He has no experience or license to operate the UFO"?

distraught mother:
"No.......ugh"

emergency telephone operator:
" So it is aluminum and discharges electricity?"

distraught mother:
" Yehs...sob..sob"

operator:
"It has no electronic devices at all"

mother:
" it sends a 1000V discharge out in the first 5 mins of every hour..sob sob"

operator:
"RIGHT..."

And they say that Emergency Services know NOTHING about UFOs
What a hoot LOL!
