A Southwest Airlines pilot reported seeing a drone flying 2000-feet over Orlando International Airport Thursday afternoon.

Moments later, a Delta Airlines pilot reported that the same drone narrowly missed their windshield by 8-feet.

The FAA limits the altitude of drone flight to 400 feet and areas around airports are highly restricted air space.

The incident was captured on the conversation between the pilots and Orlando’s air traffic control.

The Boeing 777F, with registration A7-BFH, sustained a severe dent on its right-hand wing leading edge. The aircraft arrived as flight QR8141 from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

“Qatar Airways can confirm that a cargo aircraft, QR8141, operating from Atlanta to Chicago, came into touch with a light post while taxiing at Chicago O’Hare and received some wing damage,” Qatar Airways spokesperson said.

According to an airline representative, no crew members were injured in the incident and the incident is being investigated.

second audio is the Grand Junction Landing

An American Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N165US performing flight AA-2065 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Salt Lake City,UT (USA) with 170 people on board, was enroute at FL340 about 10nm south of Grand Junction Airport,CO (USA) when the left hand engine suffered a series of compressor stalls prompting the crew to shut the engine down, declare emergency and divert to Grand Junction Airport. The aircraft landed safely on Grand Junction Airport's runway 29 and stopped on the runway for an inspection of the left hand engine by emergency services.

A replacement Airbus A321-200 registration N556UW reached Salt Lake City with a total delay of 11.5 hours.

The airline reported a possible mechanical problem prompted the diversion to Grand Junction.

The LAX Ground North feed doesn’t appear to have any audio. On LAX Ground North/South you can hear the north controller, but not on the designated north ground feed.

Thank you

(thanks AVH)

Audio was a bit disconnected in KDEN, here's the audio I could extract.

A Delta Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N332DN performing flight DL-1057 from Denver,CO to Atlanta,GA (USA) with 197 passengers, was accelerating for takeoff from Denver's runway 08 when a bird was ingested by the left hand engine (CFM56) causing an engine fire. The crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 157 knots over ground), slowed safely, vacated the runway via a high speed turnoff and stopped clear of the runway. Tower reported there appeared to be smoke and flames coming from the aircraft. Emergency services responded. The aircraft was later towed to the apron where passengers disembarked normally.

The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT ON DEPARTURE AND STRUCK A BIRD IN THE LEFT ENGINE CAUSING A FIRE, TAKEOFF ABORTED AND BLEW RIGHT MAIN TIRES, DENVER, CO.", rated the damage substantial and the occurrence an accident.
