Listener Forum / Re: LSZH archive issue

Thanks for the report.

That particular site is heavily loaded and has some tech issues. We will take another look but it may be as optimized as it can be already.

Listener Forum / LSZH archive issue
« Last post by Jutu87 on May 04, 2023, 09:16:23 AM »
When listening LSZH Tower and Apron feeds, those includes lot of small "jumps" which can be heard when ATC&Aircraft are talking - some words jumping over. It can be seen also total length of feed. Normal cases length are almost 32min but LSZH feed are 60-80sec shorter because of that jumping issue.

119.500 is the correct tower/CTAF frequency for KSAF but there seems to be an issue with the scanner radio at the feed site, that's why there's no audio at the moment.  LiveATC is aware of the problem.  The feed might be removed temporarily until the issue is resolved.  Hopefully it won't take too long.

LiveATC claims that KSAF tower is on 119.500 but there never seems to be any activity there?

Flew on many of them !!!

(from Endeavor Air)

On Sunday, April 30, Endeavor Air operated its final CRJ-200 flight, departing from Brunswick, GA, and arriving in Atlanta.
Our ATL team handed out t-shirts, cookies, cake and keychains to the passengers to celebrate the last flight.
Endeavor CEO Jim Graham and Endeavor COO Brian Darsow flew on the final turn and gave a warm welcome to the passengers.
Farewell to the 200!✌️
“It was exciting, and it was an honor to fly the last 200 flight; I don’t know how we got so lucky. I will definitely miss this aircraft.” -Captain Dana Rethmel

I really try to avoid doing any "cross posting" here, but on occasion one jumps out at me, and it's too good not to share.
Most of us have probably heard it before, but always a good re-run !
Enjoy ! Thanks Aviationgeekclub !

(youtube story in the link as well)

‘I asked the tower Would you like a flyby down the runway or down the ramp? The guy said Down the ramp! When I said okay, I sucked the gear up, pushed the power up. We started heading towards the ramp, towards the tower. As we were approaching it, I rolled the plane up away from the tower and lit the afterburners. We went around and made a pass. The tower controller said “Beautiful, beautiful, come back and do another one”. I said I better not, I’m gonna go to Beale. So, we went back to Beale and we landed.

‘As I mentioned it was a holiday weekend and Colonel Lonnie met us when we pulled in the hangar after we landed which was the normal procedure. I thought well that’s nice that he came out. As I came down the ladder from the aircraft, he looked at me and he said Maury, do we have any regulations that say we can’t make approaches at Sacramento Airport? I said No sir.
I want one on my desk at seven o’clock tomorrow morning.
