Is there such a thing as plug to plug for your regular computer.
I got a handheld scanner, I wanna plug in a cable on the output there then run the line to my mic input on the computer. After some googling I can't find such a wire.

A standard 1/8" to 1/8" audio cable should do the trick if you're trying to accomplish what I think you're describing. This is how most all of our feeds receive the audio that streams on the network.

You should be able to find it in your local radio shack, a male to male 3.5 audio cable.
I think this is what you want:

I was also trying to do this with my handheld pro-528 and i dont know wheather to plug it into my scanner at the PC/IF port or the headphone jack.

Headphone input jack is the best solution.
