I have four RadioShack PRO-2052 scanners for the PIT TWR, PIT GND, PIT APP/DEP, Cleveland Center (WPA). KPIT OPS uses a Radioshack PRO-89.

Could it be a splitter? I'm looking to do that when I start MSY: twr, gnd, del on one scanner and then app/dep on another, going to the same antenna. If it is- exactly what is it and how much did it cost? If it's not then... ok.

Yes, there is a VHF amp before the coax splitter. It doesnt do much when it goes throught before the splitter because the splitter will brig the ohms down. it should say on the splitter how many ohms it is. i used radioshack coax from the antenna to the splitter and i used a commercial splitter from Comcast.

Our A/V class dreamed of having uhf/vhf amps. we had a six signal splitter on a 300' coax run. "great signal"

Hello pit,im about to buy a radioshack pro-2052, i was wondering, the air-band transmissions are in 25khz tunig steps, but the pro-2052 only reaches at 12 khz, does this makes any difference or you can hear the air-band as clear as good with a tuning step of 12 khz? i will use the scanner with a d-130j discone antenna....thanks!!!!

I have three RadioShack PRO-2052 scanners for the PIT TWR/GRND, PIT APP/DEP and the Cleveland Center feed. I use a RadioShack PRO-2054 for the PIT OPS feed.  I use four antenna's for all feeds.
