Uniden UBC72XLT scanning YPJT Tower1/CTAF, Tower 2, Ground and Perth Radar.

Vertical antenna on right is utilised for monitoring YPJT.

Station is located in Beeliar, Western Australia just to the West of Jandakot Airport.

VK2GEL,

It's not actually an airband antenna, it's a standard scanner receiving antenna I picked up at a local electronics store.

73's.

I have just completed transferring the YPJT feed to a Raspberry Pi mounting all the equipment in an old PC tower, see attached picture.

Many thanks to Dave for his assistance in troubleshooting the installation due to buggy drivers and extremely difficult setup with the Cirrus Audio Sound card for the Pi.

If anybody is thinking of setting up a Raspberry Pi I would steer clear of the Cirrus Audio card for now and I ended up having to purchase an external USB sound card to get it all to function correctly.
