I wish you draw somekind of diagram that explains all that stuff connected and what it does to help providing such a great quality and service. :-) Though I understand this is time consuming to be done...

PIT:
does the pre-amps help with reception? i have one on the PIT feed, but its for more of tv freqs. When i move my antenna i sometimes get shocked because of the amp on the line. Also,  How many antennas do you have. I use one for 3 scanners.  Its a coax all the way down till the scanner there is a coax to BNC connector and i use a commercial coax splitter to split the line into each of the scanners.
