Title: KLVK feed up
Post by: EdwardM21 on February 13, 2010, 01:46:42 PM
The Livermore feed is now operational.

I have it setup in the attic with a homemade J-Pole antenna, Uniden BC350C scanner and dedicated Windows-XP laptop.

ATC and airborne aircraft come in OK, but the aircraft on the ground not so good.  There's a small hill between the feed and the airport, that may be causing reception problems with ground aircraft.  At some point, I may try to move the antenna up on the roof.

Here are some pictures.

Great setup!  Welcome aboard - we may have some additional feeds coming at or near Livermore soon as well.

Thanks for being the first!
