Title: KLEX feed setup
Post by: mbasanta on October 18, 2022, 01:11:26 PM
I finished my setup for KLEX (Lexington, KY). It's scanning approach, departure, tower, and ground. I'm about 4.5 miles from the airport with no terrain obstacles between. I get decent audio, but it was better when it was coming straight out of the scanner. I may try tracking down some nicer mono cables and see if that helps a little. I have a 1/4 wave ground plane antenna on my roof about 30' up.

I'm also pushing ADS-B data to adsbexchange.com on the same Raspberry Pi.

As soon as my feed gets approved it'll be up and running.

With the mentioned specs, I think it can last 30 minutes.
