Title: KBLM/3N6/N12 and KNEL/KWRI/ZNY feed
Post by: JohnN on November 22, 2013, 04:04:33 PM
Here's my setup for the KBLM/3N6/N12 and KNEL/KWRI/ZNY feeds. I started with a Uniden Bearcat BC245XLT(or something like that). Dave offered to sell me a Realistic Pro-2006, so I upgraded to that. He included the Amplifier with built in FM trap. We decided it was better to split the ZNY/WRI/NEL and BLM/3N6/N12 feeds, so he sent me another scanner along with a Raspberry Pi. Along with the Pi and scanner, he included a coax stub filter, to reduce interference from the nearby NOAA station. So here's my setup. The antenna is an Antennacraft ST-2.

Here's a picture of my mast. It's hard to take a level picture when you're standing on your roof on a windy day. Just for fun, I'll throw in a picture from the top of my roof, to show just how high the antenna is.
