Nice setup! I have a couple questions...

1. It looks like you're taking audio from the ext speaker jack. Is it plugging into a microphone jack on the t5000? won't that over drive the microphone input?

2. what model is your t5000? Suddenly a winterm seems like a brilliant idea for my feed.

sorry for late reply but I don't follow this forum
yes, audio output from the scanner is directly plugged into mic in the t5000, if you chose the gain correctly it should be fine.
I can't remember the exact model of t5000

if you are interested in a new feed, consider Raspberry pi device.
