Title: KSLC Feeds Down Temporarily

Pipeline contractor cut the neighborhood cable line while installing a new water line. Hopefully it will be repaired tonight or tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nice...good thing the contractor checked things out before digging a big hole in the ground  :-)

I'm surprised though that you didn't jump down in that hole and reconnect the two ends of that cable  :-D

It was tempting to jump in and fix it. If I hadn't been told they were on their way, I probably would have.

The worst part was the cable company telling me their system showed my modem and tv boxes were connected and working fine. I wish I could show them the picture. I need some of their magic coax that works even when it's not connected. I could save a bundle on connectors!
