I will be taking the Johnson County Executive Airport Feed (KOJC) offline for a few hours on Friday afternoon (5/15/2009) to migrate to a dedicated computer and also relocate the receiver.
I'm hoping this new setup will both increase the availability of the feed and improve the receive audio.
Additional feed setup information is available at my web site: http://www.pilotmikekc.com/live-atc/

Going into maintenance mode now. Hope to be back within an hour.

We're back from maintenance. I have relocated the receiver and extended the audio via Cat 5e Ethernet cable down to a dedicated PC using a Gefen EXT-AUD-1000. I was not sure how this would work, but so far it sounds pretty good!

I will continue to monitor the audio over the next few hours. Please let me know if you have any issues.

Not receiving ojc tower

I've recently moved and I'm now too far away to hear the Tower controller. :-( If you or someone you know lives closer to KOJC, I'd be more than happy to have someone else take over the feed. Please DM me here if you know of someone that might be interested.
