Power restored. Feed is Up.

Looks like it's down again, for almost a week now. I understand general situation, but any way we can get it back up and perhaps come up with a plan to reduce the extended downtimes? I really enjoy the feed, especially that guy that works late at night!

I second that!!! At the same time this feed did not seem to broadcast strong at all! Hope the owner is OK.

We are working on a new site in cooperation with the EWR feeder - stay tuned.
-
That's good to hear!
-
Any thoughts when the new Newark feed will be operational?
I appreciate the work everyone puts in to get and keep a feed going. Thanks!!

Still no ETA. I have delivered all the equipment to set it up - just trying to coordinate a date when the contact on the other end can work with me to get it online.

Any ETA yet about when we can expect it back up I miss this feed!

Next few weeks...waiting for an antenna to be installed at the receiver site and then we can get the system going.
-
any news about the progress?
Alex
-
Delays in being able to get to the site and getting an antenna mounted. This will not happen until at least January.
-
Any progress? It's been January for four days. I really like this feed, and am on the brink of shelling out $80 for a handheld scanner. Please keep a penniless me from doing so...
By the way, I'm less than 7 miles from KEWR and currently go plane spotting there, so I would gladly volunteer any assistance should it be necessary.
-
Project delayed until February due to lack of access to the new site.
-
I understand the new EWR feed is on it's way. Here is a site to get tower coverage in the mean time.
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=1777
In the little radio app you can select wich feed from Essex County, NJ you want (police, fire, airport)
I new to the radioreference site, but it appears as if they cover many many areas over the country, mostly police and fire. I was surprised to see EWR. The Morris County feed does not contain MMU, nor does the Bergen County feed cover TEB.
I think this could be a great resource to get coverage in areas lacking, which may already have coverage or the ability to provide it.

thanks for the link

Dave,
Any update on the Newark feed? I assume the new site is clear of all the snow from the storms a few weeks ago. Looking forward
to having it back up.
-
Yes, thank you for the link :))
-
Glad to see Newark feed is now up. Also the additional approach freqs. Thanks for the efforts. This feed was missed while
it was down.
-
Took a bit longer to arrange and get to installing than I would have liked. But it will be solid and will expand and improve improve.
-
Way to go Dave!
I love all the additional Freq. Now!
Thanks
