Since I needed to find better reception for the CVG scanners, I decided to move closer to the airport.
...
well, kindof.
...
I am moving, so the CVG feeds will disconnect as soon as my DSL service, here at my old apartment, is yanked. (The only thing left in the apartment is a dsl modem and the streaming equipment!) Once the DSL is turned up over at the new place, and I notice, I'll get the streams back up and running ASAP.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to drop me a note.
Thanks

This is great news Bill! Sounds like it will make the great reception even greater.

thanks, Dave.. and thanks for making this service possible!
The CVG feeds are back up with their same antennas. The reception seems to be about the same. I hope to sharpen the plumbing skills (and my skills at not burning down my new home) by soldering up a J-Pole of my own soon. Once I do, I'll hook it up and see if I can mount it to get better reception.
Any questions, feel free to drop me a note.

CVG will be down for the remainder of the weekend. I am going to rebuild the server and, unfortunately, an interim machine is not available.

Ok, my prelim research didn't go so well. The feed has remained up and, will remain up, until I can find a UNIX distro that likes me (and, "alsa").

binaries have been upgraded and the feed will be going down for maintenance...
