Nice video!  I loved the line "in this sophisticated age of automation and computerization" and how the engineers were using slide rules...things have changed a little since then  :-D

For a good read, pick up Joe Sutter's book "747". It details the the building of the 747, from design, to testing, first flight, and so on. Great read!!  8-)
