We received a mandatory face to face briefing on 5/3 before beginning the shift.  We were told not to place VFR or OTP in flight plans without an altitude.  #DontBreakTheNAS

It seems amazing that something so benign could bring the system to its knees.

Most of the briefings were met with a chuckle.

I would have gone with "startling", "sadly unsurprising", etc. ... but yeah, let's just stick with "amazing." :)

OK, I'll give you startling, if you are unfamiliar with the FAA.  Sadly unsurprising if you are familiar.
