Title: Hurricane Hunters - Isaias
Post by: KB4TEZ on July 30, 2020, 01:39:11 PM
Have always had a huge amount of respect for these folks.  Here in South Florida, they are literally a life line for us.
Link below takes you to the actual flight data they retrieve from the storm, keeping us up to date with strength and direction.
click the storm flight and track.

You can also click each buoy they drop and see the sensor readings as they fly through, and around the storm.
Going to be a wet weekend no matter what.

I totally agree, without them we won't know where and when a hurricane will hit. Their literally saving a lot of lives.
