What an awesome thing !!!

Yesterday, with Lorrie by my side, I was officially sworn in as United States Ambassador to The International Civil Aviation Organization.

It was a wonderful celebration of the completion of a long and complex process.

My thanks go out to those who were a part of yesterday's special event, and to all who worked tirelessly to get us here.

I am looking forward to working on behalf of the American people to improve aviation standards globally, and ensure the safety and security of all who travel by air.
