It is not news.  It's a missed approach.  A perfectly normal and sane maneuver, whether it's Air Force One or not.  A couple folks Tweeted about it earlier and the news corps had to broadcast it to the rest of the world.

Move along folks, no news here.  :-)

You're absolutely right Dave. Not news at all. I'm sure most of us have done a missed approach or two. No big deal.
Technically, it wasn't a 'missed' approach'. Just an aborted landing attempt.
