She truly is the Flagship of Passenger Aviation!! 8-)

You got that right! She's always been my favorite. I spent a lot of time in the -400 on numerous business trips to Singapore. As long as those flights were, I always looked forward to stepping in the -400. Traveling in Business Class didn't hurt either :-D Now Singapore is flying A380's out of JFK...

Here is one of my YouTube Favs, I've posted this before, but it's so worthy... I give you:

Also this one:
This is footage of Pan Am's "Clipper Ocean Pearl", Boeing 747-121 N740PA (cn 19647/16), over Florida in the mid-1980's. The intention was to use this awesome air-to-air footage for promotional purposes. Enjoy!!

In my teens I used to go to the PanAm Worldport and hang out in the parking lot on top of the terminal. It was the best view in the house! Too bad you can't do that anymore...
Have you ever seen the YouTube videos from SuredT? He's a KLM 747-400 pilot who made quite a few in-cockpit videos of takeoffs and landings...I always enjoyed watching them. Here's one of them:

And another one of my favorites...landing at St Maartin...enjoy!

ok I've got one for you guys.
Shot this in my front room using a plastic Japan Airlines 747 model kit.
I was basically trying to mimic air to air aerial shots we've seem in film.
Listen with stereo speakers or headphones since the music is timed to the edits and helps pull off this "Illusion of flight".
