I'm glad that everyone got out safe but a sad sad day for the few B-17s that are still around.  I can't help thinking that the Liberty Belle survived the war, and all these years, only to burn in a field...

Totally agree with you. One small note...the Liberty Belle actually never saw combat in WWII. She was built to late according to Wiki.
