matic footage has captured the moment two planes collided on the tarmac at Turkey’s Istanbul International Atatürk Airport.
Video shows an A330 from South Korean airline Asiana being taxied across the tarmac when it crashed into the tail of a Turkish Airlines A321 jet, severing it in half.
According to The Korean Times, no one was hurt, but the incident did result in a fire on the Turkish twin-engine jet after the force of the crash caused it to skid on the runway.
The Turkish plane suffered extensive damage to its vertical stabiliser.

The news outlet also confirmed Turkey’s transport ministry is to launch an investigation into the cause of the crash.

"If the ministry finds the collision is Asiana's fault, the airline will face an administrative measure," a ministry official said.
