Small plane crashes off the coast of Boynton Beach(Update)

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Coast Guard says divers with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office located the body of the missing pilot on Monday, a day after the plane crashed in the Boynton Beach Inlet.
The name of the 24-year-old pilot has not been released. But authorities recovered his body from the wreckage of the plane.
The plane went down near the 5500 block of Ocean Boulevard, just south of Woolbright Road, on Sunday night.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A small plane crashed in Boynton Beach near the 5500 block of Ocean Blvd. on Sunday night.

According to the FAA, radar and radio contact with a single-engine Piper PA-28 was lost shortly after 8 p.m.

Officials say the plane was traveling from Palm Beach County Park Airport to Merritt Island Airport.

There's no word on how many were on board or their conditions.
