A small plane crashed on a residential street in New Jersey on Monday afternoon.

The plane crashed around 1 p.m. into a yard in Manville, near Central Jersey Regional Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration said. Power lines on the street were damaged in the crash.
The FAA said it wasn’t immediately clear how many people were aboard the single-engine plane, a Mooney M20M. The cause of the crash was also unclear as the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board began a joint investigation. However, the Manville police later said the pilot—who was injured—was the only person aboard.

They suffered facial injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to ABC 7. They are expected to recover.
