PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A man from Port St. Lucie was killed in a jet crash in South Carolina.
A private jet ran off the runway at the Greenville Downtown Airport Thursday afternoon, killing two people. One of the victims died at the hospital. Two other passengers on the plane are being treated at the hospital.The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 49-year-old John Christian Caswell, the pilot of the jet.
The plane is registered to Global Aircraft Acquisitions LLC, a company based in Lewes, Delaware.
Investigators with the NTSB and FAA will look into the cause of the crash.

Local news is reporting the pilot only had certification to be a co-pilot in this aircraft and the co-pilot had no cert at all for this plane. Don’t know the sources so take it for what it’s worth.
