Two PIA flights today were claimed to have explosives on-board. The threat arrived at PIA via E-mail and gave two specific flight numbers (898, an A310-300, from Lahore (Pakistan) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and 709, a B777-300, from Lahore (Pakistan) to Manchester, EN (UK)). Both aircraft landed safely, were searched, and released. No explosives were found on either aircraft.
