Title: Lufthansa 1172
Post by: CathayA340 on May 10, 2013, 08:33:02 PM
Hi everyone!!

Does anyone have the ATC recordings for the Luftie A321 that made an emergency landing at Nantes?  :| It was DLH1172, D-AISL (or D-AISJ, different sources).

It appears to be an engine failure after takeoff.

Thanks in advance,

Flight was LH851. Airbus A321-200, registration D-AISL. She suffered compressor stalls and engine surges departing Helsinki.

I love how the Daily News says that "flames were engulfing the left wing"...
