First Officer Pulls Gun on Captain

(1/1)

RonR:
Apparently this happened over a year ago (August 22, 2022) but it is only coming to light now.  It seems the first officer of a flight over the US pulled a gun on the captain of that flight.  The reason appears to have been a dispute involving the diversion to a different airport.  Supposedly the captain wanted to divert because of an on-board medical condition and the first officer didn't like that idea.

Ouch.. this happened last year, so it's safe to say that we won't have the tapes for this..

Probably only cockpit recorder only, so I'm sure that's not gonna come out.
(maybe after the court case is done)

RonR:
Any ATC audio would be hard to find anyway since the only information about this flight is that it happened over the US and that it appears to have been a Delta flight.  No mention of the time it happened and where in the route it happened.  I don't think it's clear if they even diverted or not.

One could guess that since this is happening in a court in Utah, that they have jurisdiction.. That said, that puts a Delta flight in Utah, so one could assume KSLC from that..
