DC-3 Turboprop Crash-Two Crew Lost

The aircraft involved (N467KS, CN 20175) is a 1944-built C-47, originally delivered to the U.S. Army/Air Force. She was converted to DC-3 Turbo Spec, powered by PT6A-67B's, by Aero Modifications. She was operated by Priority Air Charter LLC. The crash occurred shortly after take off on Monday, January 21st, 2019. 

Thoughts and prayers are with the families...

"The witness saw the plane take off about a third of the way down the runway, according to the report. Soon after taking off, the witness noticed white smoke coming from the plane’s left engine."
