I had been led to believe  the orig cvr  was only 30 min.  Later was expanded to 2 hrs.  and a newer version will capture the entire flight. Is this at all correct ?

Owh .sorry .forgot to put question mark.


1)how long will it take to recover the data from the voice recoder and data recorder, once  they found it?

2) is there is  a manual way to shut down the black box while the plane is still flying?


3)what are the SOP to retreive those two stuff ( from A to Z) ?


4) anyone here had the experience handling the blackbox from the crash plane? Cause i would like to mknoe more details..
