GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WGFL) - An airplane heading from Cincinnati to Punta Gorda made an emergency landing at Gainesville Regional Airport Thursday morning after the pilot had a seizure, officials say.
Officials say the Allegiant Air flight landed safely and the pilot was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Airport officials say the Airbus 320 is still at the airport waiting on a new crew. The plane is expected to re-board about 1:45 p.m.
