A UPS MD-11 cargo aircraft crashed into an industrial area south of the airport just after takeoff from Louisville (KSDF) at about 22:12Z on November 4. The flight was on its way to Honolulu and was carrying a full load of fuel. The cause of the crash is being investigated and the NTSB is already on scene. LiveATC has a feed for KSDF however there was nothing to be heard from those archives. Sadly, at least nine people have lost their lives with some of those apparently being on the ground.
