POINSETT COUNTY, Ark. — Two people are dead after a plane crashed in Poinsett County, Ark. Monday morning, according to Sheriff Kevin Molder.
The Poinsett County Dispatch Center received a call about the crash in northwest Poinsett County at 9:44 a.m.
Emergency responders discovered a twin-engine plane in a field off of Flag Slough Road, according to Molder.According to the FAA, the plane was burning.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
The NTSB said via Twitter the airplane is a Hawker-Beechcraft G58 that crashed in Weiner, Ark.
