Yes, I would consider that a fuel delivery issue.

Agreed. The updated AvHerald makes mention of bird remains found in one of the engines, and that the aircraft hit power lines before it hit the ground.

"On Jun 10th 2012 Dana Air's Director of Flight reported on Lagos' TV, that the remains of one or more birds have been found in one of the engines recovered from the crash site. However, the cause of the crash is still to be determined."

It is not clear if both engines have been examined yet, but a very real possibility is that the airplane encountered a flock of bids along it's approach path either flying in the same direction as the aircraft, or directly towards it, and she took birds in both engines. Double Engine Failure Due To Bird Ingestion seems more likely then a fuel problem at this point...

agreed.  having a duel engine failure from ingesting birds has happened before and in this case and at this point, seems a little more likely as joeyb747 said...

Preliminary Report has been released.

http://www.avherald.com/h?article=4508fb60/0001&opt=0

http://www.aib.gov.ng/reports/Interim%20Report%202a%20-%20Dana%20Air%20Flight%20992%20prelim.pdf

According to records, the aircraft took on 8,000 lbs of fuel, and had a total of 26,000 lbs of fuel, or 3.5 hours of endurance, on-board when it left  Abuja. The flight was just under an hour flying time, so she had plenty of fuel.

From Preliminary Report:
"DAN 992 initiated engine startup at 1436, taxied to the runway and was later airborne at 1458 after the flight had reported that it had a fuel endurance of 3.5 hours. Shortly after takeoff,  992 reported 1545 as the estimated time of arrival at LOS as the flight climbed to a cruise altitude of 26,000 ft. DAN0992 made contact with Lagos Area Control Center at 1518 hours." (All Times Z)

No further mention of the bird remains at this point, but the investigation is "On-Going"...
