Agreed. The updated AvHerald makes mention of bird remains
found in one of the engines, and that the aircraft hit power lines before it hit the ground. "On Jun 10th 2012 Dana Air's Director of Flight reported on Lagos' TV, that the remains of one or more birds have been found in one of the engines recovered from the crash site. However, the cause of the crash is still to be determined."
It is not clear if both engines have been examined yet, but a very real possibility is that the airplane encountered a flock of bids along it's approach path either flying in the same direction as the aircraft, or directly towards it, and she took birds in both engines.
