I was listening to my scanner in Tampa today and at around 11:30 AM I picked up some communications on the emergency channel. The scanner was switching frequencies by itself at that time and was recording audio from multiple channels at first so I went back and deleted audio from the other random channels out of the recording. I also deleted some of the recording that did not contain audio. The length of the recording is not as long as it occurred in real life. Hopefully this guy and his plane are alright. If you know anything about this incident let us know.

really nice catch. i tried a web search and didn't come up with any news on the forced landing. hopefully they got down safe.

I just checked NTSB and everything is too recent to be posted. Well done by pilot, fellow pilots & controller.

FAA posts the preliminary reports normally the next day, however, most of the time they are not very detailed.
