here is the audio file

What format is the file?

It's an AMR file, often used by mobile phones. I've re-encoded it to MP3. It may just be me, but I couldn't understand a whole lot of what was said! I'll leave it to you lot to figure out. Seemed the controller was doing what he could to reassure the pilot. Anyone have any idea about where the clip may have come from? It's certainly not a scanner anyway...

sounds like a direct audio recording from a microphone inside the tower to me
i think those beeps are coming from the controlers equipment
also the controllers voices are much clearer

The location is the King Hussein Intl airport in Jordan, hence the heavy accents.

absolutly good job. Emergency traffic is turning back to rwy 19 after takeoff 01 and the worst another traffic was downwind for rwy 01.When he turned on final I'm really worry about runway is clear or not. Thanksgod everything has been finished safely.
The airport is known AQABA more than King Hussein Int. which is located near of Israel border in Eilat,Red Sea.

Sounds like the pilot is an quite a panic and is rambling a lot. The controller is doing his best to calm him down so he doesn't crash the plane out of panic. Obviously whatever the emergency was, it wasn't that big of a deal since the guy taxis his plane to the ramp.
